저자 소개

스티븐 워커 (지은이)
스티븐 워커 교수는 2000년부터 한국에서 영어를 가르쳤습니다. 그는 저널리즘/대중 커뮤니케이션 학사 학위와 TESOL 석사 학위 소지자이며, 호서대학교에서 영어학과 교수로 재직하고 있습니다. 그는 또한 체코 공화국 리베레츠 기술대학교에서 경제학을 영어로 강의했습니다.

아시아와 유럽에서 교수로 재직하기 전에는 텔레비전 뉴스 제작 경력이 있으며, 1997년에 그는 미국 평화봉사단에 입대하여 서아프리카 감비아에서 천연자원 자원봉사자로 일했습니다.

다양한 문화, 관습, 언어에 대한 그의 경험과, 사진 및 저널리즘 분야의 경력을 바탕으로 개발된 본 교재는 좀 더 깊이 생각하고 주류 미디어에서 자주 다루지 않는 주제에 대해 논의하는 데 관심이 있는 성인 학습자의 영어 능력을 향상시키는데 도움이 됩니다.
